Shaping the future together
On February 14, 2024, the first think tank of the Fürstenwalde office took place on the premises of GeoClimaDesign AG. Around 30 people took part in the Think and Do Tank on the topic of the heating transition and discussed four different perspectives.
Climate managers, scientists, utilities, landlords, energy consultants, regional developers and citizens discussed the heating transition in the region together.
The format is a space for a constructive, solution-oriented exchange among regional movers and shakers. The workshop invites people to network, think ahead and help shape rural areas. The think tank sees itself as a think and do tank that supports the exploration of joint steps by various stakeholders from science, business and society. The special thing about it is that participants can engage directly with each other. There are no presentations followed by question and answer sessions, but rather direct discussions in small groups on one aspect of the main topic. In the case of the Wärmewende event, there were four rounds of discussion.
