What the region has to offer
Everything is set to turn green in Altranft: the regional and farmers' market with the Day of Crafts and the traditional harvest parade awaits its guests. Preparations have been underway since the beginning of the year for a day that will delight families, young and old, guests from the region and Berlin alike. Framed by a diverse market with all the food, drink and crafts that the region has to offer, a varied program with music, information, artistry and conversation awaits.

10.00 a.m.: Start with marching band in the castle park
10.30 a.m.: Jakob and Jonasz Hałas, folk music from Poland
11.20 a.m.: Dance performance by the Reetzer Sterne
11.30 a.m.: Fairytale theater: Rumpelstiltskin
12.00 p.m.: Service in the church
12.30 p.m.: Interview with farmers' association president Henrik Wendorff and Frank Ecker, managing director of the Frankfurt (Oder)
1.00 p.m.: Traditional harvest procession
2.15 p.m.: Bad Freienwalde youth orchestra
3.20 p.m.: Interviews with apprentices from the region
3.30 p.m.: Artistry and clowning with Flash Gonzales
4.15 p.m.: Bubble act
4.30 p.m.: Craftsmen's choir
On the village green, TITAN Machinery Deutschland GmbH Bad Freienwalde offers a show with modern agricultural technology. ZALF Müncheberg will be demonstrating the opportunities offered by robotics in agriculture, the potential uses of pulses and new approaches to solidarity-based farming.

The regional and farmers' market is a format of the Oderland-Spree planning region. It is held every year alternately by the districts of Oder-Spree and Märkisch-Oderland and by the city of Frankfurt (Oder) with the participation of district farmers' associations. In 2024, it will be the turn of the Märkisch-Oderland district – and it has chosen Altranft as the venue. The day will be organized in cooperation with the Oderbruchmuseum, the Altranfter Traditionsverein, the Frankfurt (Oder) Chamber of Crafts and, last but not least, our media partner rbb Antenne Brandenburg.
