Since December 18, the district of Märkisch-Oderland has had a completely revamped website. The new website with a sleek and modern design as well as a clear and user-friendly structure can be accessed at www.maerkisch-oderland.de.

After intensive preparation and in line with the new corporate design of the district, which has been used in all areas of communication since 2024, the website now also has a modern and user-friendly design.
The new website of the district is also technologically up to date. The short loading times that are important for mobile devices, a clear and appealing structure and further improved search engine friendliness are just some of the points that the development team has focused on. The relaunch was implemented in collaboration with Marktplatz GmbH from Lüneburg.

In addition to a new visual appearance, visitors can expect a completely restructured and more intuitive site. The district's services are now arranged behind life situations, which simplifies navigation and enables users to find the information and services relevant to them more quickly.

The Märkisch-Oderland waste disposal company (EMO) will also be integrated into the district's website on December 18, 2024. The previous domain www.entsorgungsbetrieb-mol.de will be redirected to the new EMO theme page in the next few days.

The service portal launched in spring 2024 has become more important as part of the relaunch. All relevant district services, including applications and forms, are gradually being transferred to this constantly expanding portal and, where possible, made available to residents of the district without media discontinuity. Many services can now be conveniently completed online, which not only reduces visits to the authorities, but also significantly shortens waiting times.

The aim was to develop a particularly attractive and user-friendly website. An important milestone has been reached with the current relaunch. However, as we all know, modernization is never really finished with digital media and we will continue to closely monitor new technical developments in the future and constantly develop the site further.
