40 graduates were honored on 21.11.2024 for their outstanding achievements as the best in dual training in the concert hall in Frankfurt (Oder). All of them completed their exams with at least 92 points and thus achieved the grade "very good".
In his speech, Carsten Christ, President of the East Brandenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, emphasized the importance of dual training for the region and praised the graduates for their diligence, ambition and perseverance. "Their success shows how much potential there is in our region. You have not only proven that you are technically excellent, but also that you accept challenges and master them with discipline and creativity." He emphasized that the results achieved were not only a personal success, but also a benefit for the economy in East Brandenburg
Among those honored are 34 trainees, 5 retrainees and one external exam participant. Otis Tesch, retail salesman at Kaufland Eberswalde, and Clemens Büttner, industrial mechanic at PCK Raffinerie GmbH, who both scored 98 points and are among the best graduates, deserve special mention.
The performance of Elias Goldmann, process mechanic at Cemex Zement GmbH, who was named the best in his occupational group at national level, is particularly outstanding. The success stories of Celina Stahl and Patrick Wunsch, who were already honored as a salesperson in 2023 and have now been honored again as retail salespeople, are also extraordinary.
The IHK Ostbrandenburg also recognized the achievements of the parents, trainers and training companies who contributed significantly to the success of the graduates. A total of 28 companies were recognized for their outstanding training quality.
The results not only demonstrate the personal performance of the graduates, but also the importance of dual training in East Brandenburg. The award-winning companies play a central role in this. With the quality of their training and their commitment, they lay the foundation for a strong regional economy.
The IHK Ostbrandenburg is the largest representative body for the economy between Schwedt and Eisenhüttenstadt, between Berlin and the Oder.
