On September 25, a guest dinner with Spanish-German tapas will connect the audience at the Kleist Forum with guests at Club Pollença on Mallorca, who will be digitally connected live. ORTE is the theme of the evening at this divided yet connected table. Michael Schrodt in Frankfurt (Oder) and Annie O'Callaghan in Pollença read texts, sing songs and lead through an entertaining program that shows the moods in both places – funny, touching and with a look at the differences.

Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice, the twin city on the edge of Germany in the center of Europe, and Pollença, a village with a Roman history whose cultural heritage is in danger of being buried in the onslaught of tourism – how do these places build their identities over time? And how will they be redefined in the future? How do places on the map become places where people feel at home? And how can life be made attractive?

In a moderated public discussion between the two locations, all guests are then invited to talk about experiences, exchange ideas and tell stories.
