The German-Polish Seniors' Academy invites you to the lecture "Falling birth rates, intergenerational family structures and language barriers on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 3 p.m. in the small lecture hall of the Collegium Polonicum: How can senior citizens contribute to the integration and support of families?" followed by a discussion. The focus will be on the older generation in today's society.

The focus will be on the question of how falling birth rates, changing intergenerational family structures and language barriers can be positively influenced by the civic engagement of older people. Can senior groups offer support for families and contribute to social integration?

Speaker: Agnieszka Bollmann, pro familia advice center Frankfurt (Oder)

The lecture will be followed by an open discussion. Participation in the event is free of charge. Prior registration is not required. The presentations will be simultaneously translated into German and Polish.
