Last week, the 18th Youth Welfare Day took place at the "Konrad Wachsmann" Upper Secondary School Center (OSZ) and focused on the topic of inclusion in early childhood education – "YES TO DIVERSITY! NO TO EXCLUSION!". Youth Welfare Days have a long tradition in Frankfurt (Oder). The conference allows professionals to explore a key topic in greater depth over the course of a day and to initiate content for further work.

The event was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Michael Komorek from the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Berlin.

For the first time this year, there was also a joint exchange between guests and professionals in the form of a fishbowl round.

The "Market of Opportunities" also took place. This was organized and carried out by many independent providers and institutions from Frankfurt (Oder). Professionals had the opportunity to talk to each other, get to know new offers and network.

The 18th Frankfurt Youth Welfare Day was held as a cooperation event between the Office for Youth and Social Affairs, the OSZ "Konrad Wachsmann" and the "Child Day Care" specialist advisor team of the city of Frankfurt (Oder). The symposium was supported by the United Services Union ver.di.
