With hands-on experiments and two lectures, the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) will be taking part in the 13th Potsdam Science Day on the Golm campus of the University of Potsdam on Saturday, 9 May 2026.

A varied programme with workshops, experiments and multimedia presentations, including on smartphone use in families and the recognition of AI content, awaits visitors to the research camp from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, Viadrina researchers will give talks on life on the former inner-German border and German-Ukrainian town twinning. Admission is free.

More than 40 universities, schools and research institutions from Brandenburg will be presenting their work and providing insights into current research and teaching at the 13th Potsdam Science Day. Viadrina will be represented with an interactive programme at the research camp and two lectures. In addition, student ambassadors will provide insights into studying at the Viadrina from 12 noon to 6 pm.
