Free tickets available at the German-Polish Tourist Information Office and SMOK

On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., a ceremony will be held in the Collegium Polonicum, Great Hall in Słubice to mark the 20th anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union (EU). The event is being organized by the City of Słubice and the City of Frankfurt (Oder).

The event will feature speeches by the Marshal of the Lubuskie region, the Prime Minister of the State of Brandenburg, the Governor of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, the Mayor of Słubice (run-off election for the office will take place on 21 April 2024) and the Lord Mayor of Słubice. April 2024) and the Lord Mayor of Frankfurt (Oder).

The speeches will be simultaneously translated.

Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt under the direction of Howard Griffiths and Maciej Smoląg on the piano.

Admission tickets

Free tickets for the event (max. four tickets per person) are available for citizens at the ticket office of the German-Polish Tourist Information in Frankfurt (Oder), Große Oderstraße 29 or at the ticket office of the Municipal Cultural Center Słubice (SMOK, ul. 1 Maja 1)
