Agriculture of the future:
eco-friendly. productive. digital. knowledge-based.

Reshaping landscapes
We explore the sustainable landscapes of the future. Together with society.

By rethinking agriculture
We develop solutions for economically, ecologically and socially sustainable agriculture.

  • Scientific research into economically, ecologically and socially sustainable agriculture
  • Contribution to addressing societal challenges such as climate change, food security, biodiversity, and resource scarcity
  • Designing cropping systems in a landscape context that combine crop production needs with sustainability
  • Complex landscape data combined with a unique set of experimental methods, new technologies, computational models, and socioeconomic approaches
  • Systems research on processes in soils, plants, water, on out-/interactions between landscape, society and economy

Research in Müncheberg has a long tradition. Since 1928, our site has transformed into a modern and attractive campus just outside Berlin.
