For this year's HanseStadtFest, which will take place in Frankfurt (Oder) from July 7 to 9, 2023, sustainable mobility will also be the focus of the planning, in addition to the colorful program. For example, a comprehensive traffic concept has been developed that largely dispenses with private transport and instead relies on environmentally friendly means of transport. For a lively city center, areas of Karl-Marx-Strasse are also integrated into the event area as a pedestrian zone.

The closure for motorized individual traffic will take place on July 8 and 9 in the area behind the entrance to the parking garage of the Lenné Passage to before the Kleine Oderstraße.

In addition to a large flea market and musical and culinary offerings, it is an invitation to the residents:inside and guests to conquer and rediscover the Magistrale as a place for dance, painting, play and fun for themselves.

To ensure the connection to the festival mile and to relieve the city center to a large extent of individual traffic, park and ride parking lots will be set up in close proximity to the main access roads.
The road transport company (SVF) offers a special timetable with only environmentally friendly vehicles running on biogas and green electricity. During the entire festival period from Friday 4 p.m. to Sunday 12 a.m., public transport within Frankfurt can be used free of charge. Cyclists:inside find large mobile bicycle stands on the upper fountain place and before the tourist information at the market.

Thus the traffic concept of the HanseStadtFest courageously continues the idea of a car-free festival mile and contributes to the comfort and safety of the numerous city festival guests.
