On Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 5 p.m. in the Kreiskulturhaus Seelow the German-Polish Youth Orchestra and the choir "Corona vokalis" from the Music School Frankfurt (Oder), vocals: Sara Krethlow and Christoph Schreier play a concert.

Overwritten is the event with the line "All music in the world, what the man for lieblich hält" from the cantata "Mein Gemüt erfreuet sich" by Dietrich Buxtehude. Furthermore, works by various composers and from different eras will be heard.

The vocal ensemble "Corona vokalis" was founded in 2004 under the direction of Antje Finkenwirth. With two- to four-part movements from the Renaissance to the modern era as well as larger choral works, the choir inspires in many concerts.

The German-Polish Youth Orchestra celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The musicians from Frankfurt (Oder) and Zielona Góra have the honor of being the first and thus oldest of the German-Polish youth orchestras existing along the Oder-Neisse River.

Admission is free. A donation to cover the costs of the concert is requested.
