New Regional Manager in the Oderland-Spree Regional Planning Community

Branding process of the regional brand ODERLAND-SPREE with Annett Sonnenberg as new regional and project manager started

The Oderland-Spree Regional Planning Association has Annett Sonnenberg as a new member of its team since February 2022. Annett Sonnenberg has many years of experience in marketing and brand management and, as regional and project manager, will steer the branding process for the new umbrella brand ORLAND-SPREE and develop a new brand concept for the Oderland-Spree region together with the participants* in the AG Regionalmarke. The new brand concept should increase the added value and the identity in the region Oderland-Spree as well as increase the awareness of the region. In the working group Regionalmarke the participants*innen from the ranges municipalities, culture, spare time, sport, landscape, nature, agriculture, regional marketing, tourism and economics will develop a differentiated profile for the region Oderland-Spree.

From this development process, an overarching umbrella brand concept is jointly derived. This serves as a guard rail and defines the strategic direction of brand management. In the future, the region's stakeholders want to work together under the orientation of "equal cooperation and partnerships." The inspiration for this positioning is provided by the numerous networks that already exist in the region.

The branding process project is funded by the federal government and the state of Brandenburg as part of the joint task "Improvement of the regional economic structure" - GRW infrastructure.
