Organizer: Chamber of Crafts Frankfurt (Oder) Region Ostbrandenburg

At the invitation of the Chamber of Skilled Crafts, about 10 stakeholders from the skilled trades, the accommodation and hospitality industry, the construction and housing industry, as well as regional management and economic development agencies have exchanged views on the tangible effects of the TESLA settlement.

It is already clear that in the future the demand for commercial space will increase. For this, it is now necessary to provide areas and prepare further areas. These are not easy to find in the region at present. At present, the effects in the housing market are hardly noticeable: There are neither price increases nor housing shortages in the region. There is a slight increase in demand for accommodation due to the TESLA construction site. The car manufacturer's links with local suppliers to set up vehicle production are as yet very limited, if at all pronounced.

As content-related technical input, results of a final thesis of the TH Wildau were presented. This shows that the settlement of TESLA is to be evaluated in principle positively for the development in Berlin and Brandenburg. The more than 2,000 respondents overwhelmingly welcomed this.

This first exchange at the invitation of the Chamber of Crafts with a focus on TESLA settlement was very much welcomed by the guests. An ongoing joint exchange is planned via various formats.
