The economic development stakeholders met for the second time in 2021 and reflected on current projects and commercial developments. The Regional Management Oderland-Spree presented the measures and timing of the structure and action concept and followed up on the results of the previous meeting.
Furthermore, was presented on the part of the State Chancellery of the concept of the regional development strategy. In December 2021 coordination meetings with the regional key players in the planning regions are planned for this. A direct insight into the practice was provided by the municipality of Neuenhagen near Berlin on four positively decided funding applications within the framework of the planning funding guideline of the state of Brandenburg.
The stakeholders from the municipalities, districts, the regional planning office have agreed to meet again in Fürstenwalde in the first quarter of 2022. The transfer of knowledge on commercial development and especially the monitoring of commercial land development is highly relevant to all and is to be deepened in a timely manner. The regional and local perspective will be further linked with the activities of the state - represented here by the WFBB.
