High-voltage technology is playing an increasingly important role – whether in electromobility, renewable energies or industry. In order to meet the growing demand for qualified specialists, Quirito Academy GmbH in Frankfurt (Oder) is offering qualifications in high-voltage, photovoltaic and energy storage technology as part of a project with the municipal business development agencies in Frankfurt (Oder) and Eisenhüttenstadt.

The Quirito Academy's offer is aimed at employees from companies, craft businesses, public institutions and institutions in the region who are currently or will be coming into contact with the technology in the future.

Mayor and Economic Councillor Claus Junghanns: "The use of new processes that are important for our future development, such as high-voltage technology, has also arrived in many sectors of the economy in our region. With this further training program, we want to support companies in developing their skilled workers. For smaller companies in particular, a lack of skilled workers is difficult or impossible to compensate for. With this further training, employees receive attractive training opportunities and have greater prospects of staying in the region".

In addition, the Quirito Academy offers tailor-made further training courses that meet the needs of regional companies. These include, among others:

  • Working on vehicles with high-voltage systems
  • Planning, installation, assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems
  • Installation, operation and maintenance of battery and energy storage systems
  • Qualification for fire protection when handling high-voltage vehicle systems and photovoltaic systems

The development and implementation of all qualification measures is carried out in close cooperation with the chambers, the employers' liability insurance association and the Qualifizierungscentrum der Wirtschaft GmbH Eisenhüttenstadt.

The project is funded by the federal government and the state of Brandenburg as part of the joint task "Improvement of the regional economic structure – GRW – Infrastructure" as part of the Regional Growth Core Frankfurt (Oder)/Eisenhüttenstadt.
