Children's University Viadrina from February 28 to March 20

Pupils between the ages of 8 and 13 can experience how a university works and what studying feels like from February 28 to March 20 at the Children's University Viadrina at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). On four Wednesday afternoons, scientists will give lectures on current topics, presented in a child-friendly way.

Participation is free of charge. After the lecture, there is a meal in the canteen for one euro.

The event starts on Wednesday, February 28, 4.00 p.m., with a lecture by Prof. Dr. Philipp Hacker from the European New School of Digital Studies at the Viadrina on the topic "What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?". The Viadrina Professor of Law and Ethics of the Digital Society will experiment with AI technologies during the lecture and show how AI learns and adapts – and how it can even help with homework and learning. Viadrina Vice President Janine Nuyken welcomes the children's university students.
