For the 111th time, cabaret artist Arnulf Rating and the Maulhelden will present "Blue Wednesday" at Frankfurt's Kleist Forum on November 29. The team is celebrating the "Schnapszahl edition" of the city's weirdest show with high-proof spirits and lots of illustrious guests.

This year's guests include the veteran of the German comedy scene Hans Werner Olm, the entertainer Kay Ray, who is known for his hearty humor and provocative stage shows, and the musical singer and actress Julia Klotz. Aerial acrobat Mikkel Stamp performs his art at great heights on thin straps, while the two Berlin artists Battle Beasts combine a wide variety of elements from the fields of dance, handstand and partner acrobatics. The author and reader Susanne M. Riedel celebrates everyday life in her stories and tells of the great cinema of small moments with soothing humor. "Santa Catalina", three professional actors who create serious, funny, profound or quirky characters on demand, plunge them into absurd situations and save them with surprising solutions, prove that improvisational theater is the supreme discipline of acting.

Silent film pianist Stephan Graf von Bothmer and "Jive Park", ten hand-picked musicians who celebrate the musical return of the 20s, 30s and 40s with swing, jive and rockabilly, will provide the musical entertainment.
