Training at the Kleist Forum © Ivo Wittmann

What do grandma's birthday party and a city festival have in common? How can you make it snow on stage in spring? Where is the chaser? And how do a drum kit and a bass guitar need to be miked to create an optimal sound? Answers to these and many other questions will be given to young people from year 7 onwards on April 25 at Frankfurt's Kleist Forum.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Messe und Veranstaltungs GmbH will be presenting the diversity of its training professions as part of this year's "Future Day for Girls and Boys in the State of Brandenburg". The professionals will not only show what you need to know and learn as an event technology specialist and event manager, but you can also try out lots of things for yourself.

After a joint tour of the building, a look behind the scenes in the workshops, stage tower, conference rooms and props warehouse, small groups go to the lighting and sound engineers as well as the event managers, who provide a practical insight into their day-to-day work. The highlight is a visit to the large theater stage, where everyone who wants to can stand in the spotlight for once.
