Pupils, parents and teachers are cordially invited to an information day at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) on Saturday, January 27. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the university will open its doors to anyone who would like to find out more about studying at Viadrina

Interested parties are cordially invited to the main building of the Viadrina, Große Scharrnstraße 59, in Frankfurt (Oder).

The program begins at 11 a.m. with the welcoming of guests and brief introductions of the faculties in the foyer on the first floor of the main building. From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., the faculties will answer all questions about the study programs in law, economics and cultural studies at information stands on the second floor of the main building.
A guided tour of the university library will take place at 1 p.m., followed by a campus walk at 1.30 p.m. and a city tour at 2.15 p.m.

Unique in Berlin and Brandenburg: enrolment in Law and International Business Studies possible in the summer semester

Viadrina is the only university in the Brandenburg-Berlin, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt region to offer the opportunity to start studying Law in the summer semester, i.e. as early as April each year.
In addition, students can obtain the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree after six semesters as part of the Law degree course (state law examination). Enrolment on the law degree course is admission-free, i.e. possible without a numerus clausus (NC).

The European University Viadrina is also the only university in the Berlin and Brandenburg region to offer the exclusive opportunity to enrol on the International Business Administration Bachelor's degree course in April at the start of the summer semester. The course prepares students for work in the global business and corporate world. In courses, internships and integrated stays abroad, students gain international experience and acquire academic expertise and practical knowledge.

In the summer semester, prospective students can also enrol on the Cultural Studies Bachelor's degree course, which is unique in Berlin and Brandenburg. The course combines knowledge, methods and issues from the fields of comparative social sciences, cultural history, linguistics and literary studies. Integrated study components include training in two modern foreign languages and a study stay abroad at one of the approximately 250 partner universities of the European University Viadrina.

Enrolment possible until March 15

In addition to these undergraduate degree courses, prospective students can enrol for nine Master's degree courses at the three faculties of Law, Economics or Cultural Studies at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) until March 15, 2024. Viadrina offers a total of 24 degree programs.
