Transfer Office for Innovation and Research
The Präsenzstelle der Hoschulen des Landes Brandenburg Fürstenwalde/Spree initiates research cooperations and supports innovation projects in the region for companies and citizens*. In addition, it organizes events that focus on meeting and exchanging ideas with those responsible in science and politics.
Science at the Viadrina
The research activities of the European University Viadrina range from the Faculty of Law to the Faculty of Cultural Studies to the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty Institutes for European Studies.
The unique Collegium Polonicum in Frankfurt (Oder), which was founded jointly by the European University Viadrina and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, focuses on interdisciplinary scientific research and teaching on German-Polish, European, intercultural as well as border region topics. Located directly on the City Bridge, the Collegium Polonicum also hosts regular German-Polish cultural events.
Research profile of the Wildau University of Applied Sciences
The TH Wildau is represented with three main research areas on the research map of the German Rectors' Conference: Applied Biosciences, Computer Science/Telematics, and Optical Technologies/Photonics. In addition, the university specializes in the research fields of production and materials, transport and logistics, and management and law.
